Huzhou Waterfront and Garden Peninsula has become a very important commercial point in the 3rd ring area of Huzhou. The 3 sides of the project surrounded by river enhance the quality of civic space and public waterfront which increases the commercial value to the project. The design adopts the idea of introducing the peninsula experiences to users. Respecting the characteristic of the city, Huzhou is well-known by its Taihu Lake which is the largest freshwater lake in China. As the lake rest in the Yangtze delta plain, Yangtze river played an important role to Huzhou life source. The adventurous journey along the Yangtze river conceived the peninsula, gateway and destination senses to the overall project experiences. The 2 commercial towers stand apart to each other are stitched together by the retail podium and the natural gesture. The 2 buildings are unified and become the symbol of gateway to the natural waterfront experience.
